SICK SICK SICK!!!

The entire time since I wrote my last blog someone in our house has been sick. Mostly I was. I havent ever felt as sick as I did. I didnt leave bed for 2 and a half days. My mom and sister were amazing help. Being Thanksgiving Chris had to work a ton and I could not take care of the kids.
Today I am feeling much better but when I woke up Jenna had puked in her bed. Not a good start to the morning. She is feeling better and all is going well today. Hopefully sickness will stay away from us the rest of the year.

I am a horrible blogger!!!!

I spend so much time reading and enjoying other peoples blogs but can not keep up with mine. I am going to make an effort to be a little more frequent.
Alexa is 4 1/2 and in her second year of preschool. She is really coming out of her shell. She has made some good friends and loves her teachers. She is also taking a dance class which is so fun to watch.
Belle, Jenna and Zoey are 2!!! My little girls aren't so little anymore. Belle is so ornery. She loves to do things to get a reaction. Jenna is the dramatic one. She is either sooo happy or sooo sad. Zoey is the attentive sweet one. She loves to read books and watch shows with big sis. Zoey has had 2 braces now and is adjusting well.

Walk!

The 2 birthday girls!

This is all our walkers minus me Chris and 2 of our girls.

The March for Babies was so much fun. We had about 30 walkers. It took us about 2 hrs to walk 3.65 miles including 4 pit stops. The girls got cute shirts that said "I was a preemie look at me now." Thank you to everyone who walked and donated.
After the walk we came back to the house to have a early celebration for Alexa's birthday. She had a great time and got lots of great presents.

March for Babies

The March for babies is only 1 1/2 weeks away and we have 13 walkers this year. I am so excited. Chris's work donated shirts and my friend is donating bows for the girls to wear. If anyone wants to join in and walk or donate please do.

Shriners

We had Zoey's first visit to Shriners on Thursday. It was early. We left at 6 am Mommy and Zoey werent too happy about that. We were there 3 1/2 hours. She got x-rays, saw doctor, ot, pt and got fitted for a brace. It was a good experience. Everyone was friendly and moved us along pretty quickly. Of course Zoey hated getting fitted for her brace and cried and kicked the entire time. We go back in June for an MRI.
Daddy and the other 3 girls stayed at home and went to lunch at McDonalds.

Finally!!

Zoey got an appointment for Shriners. I am so excited. This has been a long process and I can't wait for her to get her braces. The best part is that it is next week due to a cancellation. The worst part is that it is at 7:30 am and a hour away. :) I will just need a little caffeine.
One of my favorite people found out she was pregnant. I am super happy for her and can't wait to have a baby to spoil. It might keep my own baby fever at bay.

I am back!

I dont know why I can't seem to find the time to do this. I am online everyday and have loads of cute stories to share. Maybe its lazyness, maybe its the 4 girls running around????
All 4 girls are growing up too fast. Alexa will be 4 next month and Belle, Jenna and Zoey are almost 20 months. WOW. Alexa has almost completed her 1st year of preschool. The little girls are walking, talking and having fun.
The picture is of the girls and 2 of best friends. Layla and Izzy.

March for Babies

It is almost March for Babies time. We are walking as Team Albers this year. Walgreens is donating us shirts and we are going to customize them. So far we have 8 adult walkers and 5 kids. I am really excited. Last year was a lot of fun. We are walking in Edwardsville on April 24th. It is hard to believe the girls were born 10 weeks early and spent 5-6 weeks in the NICU. This is something no family should have to go through.

The March For Babies helps fund such research and education that is so desperately needed to reduce the number of preemie births. We need to reduce the number of parents spending hours next to the crib of their tiny baby. We need to reduce the anxiety, fear and helplessness these parents feel when looking at their teeny tiny newborn. We need to reduce the number of times a parent has to bury a child they barely knew.

If you can donate or walk please do. Click the link below.
